Below is a list of our passionate tutors that are really looking forward to meeting you and working with you! Take a look to get to know a little bit about them!
Annabelle Eaton
Annabelle is an incoming freshman at Pinewood School! Her favorite subjects are science, math, literature and Spanish. Outside of school, she enjoys reading, drawing, and volleyball. Overall, Annabelle is excited to start at Talkversity and hopes to make a difference!
Ananya Nadathur
Ananya is a junior at Monta Vista High School! She can speak semi-fluent Hindi, but wants to also learn Tamil. Ananya loves acting in her school plays, or writing, directing, or producing them herself. She (of course) also loves tutoring her students!
Kaitlyn Sam
Kaitlyn is a freshman at Carlmont High School. She speaks English, Chinese and is taking Spanish at school. She enjoys playing flute, reading and hanging out with her friends. She is excited to be at Talkversity and hopes to meet new people!
Yichen Wu
Yichen is a junior at Saint Francis High School. Outside of school, she enjoys figure skating, baking, and spending time with family and friends. She is also fluent in English and Mandarin and is currently learning Spanish. She loves being a Talkversity tutor and always strives to create a safe and supportive environment where children can learn and grow!
Sabrina Yen-Ko
Sabrina is a rising senior at Los Altos High School. She is passionate about helping others and has been tutoring for 3 years. She is also a part of CENG and Los Altos Hacks which work to provide opportunities to learn programming in her community. In her free time, Sabrina enjoys creating apps, playing the saxophone, and folding origami. She is excited to help students improve their English!
Ruby Hannelly
Ruby is a sophomore at Pinewood School. She is Australian and moved to the Bay Area in 2021. She enjoys playing netball, dancing, and hanging out with her friends. She also loves spending time with kids, tutoring and babysitting on weekends.
Melissa Gonchar
My name is Melissa Gonchar. I am a sophomore attending Monta Vista High. I know how to speak English, Russian, and I am currently learning Spanish. I spend my free time playing volleyball and taking walks. I am excited to help students improve their English through this program.
Jacqueline Larsen
My name is Jacqueline Larsen, and I am a freshman at Menlo School. My favorite subjects are History and English. I enjoy playing soccer and volleyball. In my free time, I love seeing friends and family and spending time with my two dogs. I am so excited to be a part of the Talkversity community!
Sophia da Luz
Sophia, or Sol, is a freshman at Carlmont. She spends half her time on Spotify, with a new playlist everyday in a chaos of Portuguese and English. She looks forward to meeting you guys :)
Rohaan Iyer
Rohaan is a Freshman at Crystal Springs Uplands School. He loves rock climbing and playing the piano. He recently joined his high school's debate team, so he is excited to learn more about this skill. He loves to help his peers with problems that they might encounter, specifically when it comes to math.
Carrie Ho
Carrie is freshman at Los Altos High School. She is fluent is English and Mandarin. She enjoys playing volleyball, baking, and hanging out with friends and family during her free time. Carrie is excited to join the Talkversity community and help young kids learn English in a fun and easy way!
